We Talkin’ ‘Bout Practice?
Michigan Tempo prides itself on being the top organization in the VLA for data collection and usage for our players. Check out our Michigan Tempo Performance Lab (MTPL) below. Our players use the MTPL to view their own performance and designate practice availability.
Players begin by inputting a username, given by Michigan Tempo, that brings them to their player dashboard where they can view their stats and sign up for practice.
Once in the MTPL, the player will be taken to the Overview section to see a quick snapshot of their performance and will be able to navigate to other parts of the site for further breakdown, practice signups or to request a video.
Players can see trends in their performance in different skills. Example, a player can see their passer rating among the last 100 receptions, but can also scale down to 50, 25 or even 10.
Additionally, players can update their practice availability on the MTPL, letting our organization know how to plan for upcoming practices.
Players looking to dive further into skill development can request a video from our team, broken down by what skills they are looking to get further instruction on.
